  • Recipes: Moroccan Snake

    Ingrediants

    150g Butter
    150g caster sugar
    150g Ground almonds
    3 eggs beaten
    3tsp Rose water
    3tsp Rose water
    12 Filo pastry sheets

    Method

    1. Whisk Butter < sugar till pale < creamy.
    2. Add almonds, egg, flour < rose water.
    3. Lay out filo sheets < place mixture on sheet in a sausage shape, roll to make a long sausage.
    4. Roll from one end to make a round snake coil.
    5. Bake in an oven for 35-40 mins at 180 degrees Celsius.
    6. Dredge with icing sugar.

  • Roast Dinner

    * Its really too much for just one person, therefore roasts are for a minimum of two people. For larger parties we can offer a selection of meats.
    A roast dinner like no other.
    At Pond (Preston Cannon Street) and Puddle DUK (Horwich near Bolton) every Sunday join us for our twist on the classic Sunday Roast Dinner.

    Starting at £13.95 per person* get a whole joint of meat (choose from Beef, Lamb, Gammon or Chicken) which will feed even the hungriest! Coupled with a bread starters, salads, potatoes, and roast vegetables all included it’s an eye popping feast.

    All meat is individually brought fresh the day before, and cooked to your specifications. So we have time to fill up our shopping bags – all roast reservations much be made by the Friday.
